Stacktape vs.
Deployment tools
Docs
AWS CDK and Stacktape both offer a way to conveniently deploy AWS infrastructure.
The difference is that AWS CDK is a tool made for DevOps and Cloud experts, while Stacktape's main focus are developers.
Stacktape employs only developer-friendly abstractions, and it doesn't assume you have any prior DevOps, Cloud or AWS knowledge.
AWS CDK focuses on making it easier to deploy and manage AWS services. Stacktape is "use-case first", and focuses on how to accomplish application use-cases in the easiest way possible.
Stacktape is also the whole cloud development suite. It makes it easy to develop, deploy, debug and manage applications. It also offers many developer productivity features and facilitates the management of larger projects.
But you don't have to choose one or the other. Stacktape is easily extensible by AWS CDK.
